NetZero Renewable Solutions Ltd. (“NetZero”) and Arabian Marine Company (“AMC”) have signed an exclusive partnership to develop and build low emission or zero emission workboats in Ras Al-Khaimah, UAE.This collaboration brings together two-world class marine businesses committed to reducing the emissions of fleets globally.
The owners of AMC have built over 115 vessels and have achieved many firsts in the field of aluminium boat building within the commercial and military sectors. Notable achievements include the construction of the first aluminium crew transfer vessel, the first autonomous survey vessel, the first hydrogen fuel cell combat support vessel, and the first aluminium oil pipe runner tug.
Similarly, NetZero’s founders have pioneered advancements in the marine sector, delivering transformative projects such as the first all-electric ferry, the first hybrid electric tug and ferry, the first plug-in electric ferry, and the first hybrid electric fish farm vessel.
Under this partnership NetZero will be providing both “plug and play” solutions for these workboats as well as bespoke systems to reduce the emissions of the AMC-built vessels. As a technology agnostic company NetZero is unique in its ability to work with multiple technology companies to optimize the operations and economics of these workboats.
